Some of you may be familiar with the Law of Attraction and others not. The simplest way to define it is to say that "like attracts like." It is mostly used for people who want to improve their financial life, romantic life, train their mind to generate more positive thought patterns, communicate better and so on.
So whatever you focus your energy on you will attract whether it is wanted or unwanted. This is one of many reasons that negative thought patterns are damaging. People who engage in complaining about little things can eventually set up automatic negative thought patterns before they even realise it. Negative thoughts cause stress and if you believe in this principle they attract more negativity.
There is always someone worse off than ourselves. This is not a bad thing to hold in your mind to catapult you away from negative thought patterns. If you practice this over time more than likely you will start to appreciate your life more, and this is moving over that line from negativity to positivity. Gratitude is super important in creating positivity.
You may not feel it but you are a living magnet. If you start to do something small to help an other person, without hoping for something back in return, you have a good chance of detaching for some time at least from any of your own stresses, making it a win-win situation.
